Introduction

The Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Program (SRRP) is a charitable non-government organization registered with the Canadian Charities Directorate in Ottawa, the Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SRRC) and the Ugandan NGO’s Board in Kampala, Uganda. SRRP carries out its activities in Southern Sudan, the Darfur Region and Koboko/Moyo along the Sudan-Uganda border where a number of Sudanese refugees are settled.

SRRP Mission

SRRP mission is to save people's lives in conflict torn regions of Sudan.

SRRP Vision

Peace and development in the whole of Sudan and for all Sudan peoples at home and abroad.

Fulfilling our Mission

SRRP fulfils its mission by:

  • Addressing the human tragedy in Darfur, South Sudan and Africa;
  • Providing food, medicine, shelter, clothing, school materials and agricultural tools to refugees in Africa;
  • Resettling and serving refugees in Canada;
  • Establishing and delivering services through the African Canadian Cultural Heritage Centre to be built in Winnipeg.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Stewardship - we shall always use our financial resources in a responsible manner.

  • Accountability - we shall account for every dollar resource that donors entrust to us.

  • Peace and Development - we shall not rest as long as there is poverty, refugees and no peace and development in Sudan.

  • Effectiveness - we will always strive to do the right activities to ensure our efforts have impact on the ground.

  • Community - we will always provide opportunities for everyone concerned to be involved in helping the people of Sudan locally and abroad.

Our passion is to save lives . . .
